Reasons For The Seasons – Why It Gets So Hot & Cold -by David Rives
The truth is the changing seasons make the world a much better place.

Everything from kids’ movies about the Ice Age, to Flintstones cartoons, to sci-fi movies have subtle (or not-so-subtle) messages of evolution or millions of years.
Many skeptics of the Bible, and even fellow Christians, have wondered how Noah could’ve fit all the millions of modern animal species on the Ark.
Spiral galaxies contain a lot of blue stars. Blue stars are bright and hot and thought to burn through their fuel relatively quickly…”why are there still blue stars everywhere we look?”
While there are many atheists who would attempt to convince you that I hate science, let me make it clear that I am not against science. What I dislike is bad science.
While God’s glory is being revealed through modern science, philosophers like Nietzsche, Hume, and Darwin are all…dead. With discoveries in contemporary science consistently pointing to the Creator of the Bible, there’s only one thing left to say: Evolution is dead!
A lot of work goes into building a Hummingbird nest. These tiny homes are normally really hard to spot, because otherwise, predators might come and harm the young.
The only examples of supposed star formation that you will observe are when cloudy (or nebulous) areas of space start to clear, and we spot a star for the first time. – We can’t see the stars for the nebulae.
There are many instances in early Biblical history of people marrying closely related family. Human population started out with two individuals just 6,000 years ago. Around 4,000 years ago, the population was reduced to just eight at the time of the worldwide Flood.
Do we have a global sodium deficiency? Using today’s uniformitarian rates of accumulation, the oceans reach their current salt level in just 42 million years. Now, let’s assume the oceans start out with zero salt. Using today’s uniformitarian rates of accumulation, the oceans reach their salt level in just 42 million years. So where’s the over 2.5 billion years of salt? It’s nowhere to be found!
According to evolutionary ideas, organisms have evolved from a common ancestor over millions of years. As environments have changed, organisms have adapted and changed with them. So why do we find so many living creatures that look remarkably similar to creatures we find in the fossil record? – Living Fossils
Charles Lyell was a British lawyer and geologist who lived during the nineteenth century. He published a three-volume work called Principles of Geology, which promoted his ideas of an old earth, geologic ages, and uniformitarianism. This is the belief that the present is the key to the past. He believed that the slow and gradual processes we see today are the same processes that shaped our planet’s geology over millions of years.
Cheetah’s always look like they’re crying but that dark tear mark, called a malar stripe, serves a useful purpose. It attracts sunlight.
The intricate design of the human ear points towards the handiwork of our Creator – we’re fearfully and wonderfully made!
If the old-age view is indeed a correct interpretation of the evidence, we’d expect to see weathering and erosion between rock layers. After all, if those rock layers are being deposited and exposed to the elements for hundreds of thousands or millions of years, you’d expect there to be evidence of it. But we don’t find this evidence.
A couple of years ago I traveled to British Columbia, Canada and interacted with a real-life grizzly. The the lighter tips of their fur gives them almost a “grizzled” appearance, and that’s where the name comes from.
Why don’t we see any human fossil remains from the flood? This is a question I get many times…The majority of human skeletons we find today are from after the flood,..
We now know that everything tangible that we see around us is comprised of atoms. A system of electrons, protons, and neutrons. But it wasn’t until the 1980’s before we could actually create the technology to visualize the tiny atoms, and indeed, the chief dust of the Earth is pretty impressive.
Hummingbirds flap their wings up to 80 times per second. They are able to determine sugar content, and only consume nectar that is at least 10% sugar.
Meteors may be at an altitude of over 65 miles when first spotted, and the bright glow is caused by the shock wave created when a meteoroid enters the atmosphere with such extreme speed. Many of these don’t survive the journey, and most burn up long before reaching the surface of Earth.
Sirius is thought to be 8.6 light years away…The rising of Sirius before dawn actually marked the beginning of the Egyptian New Year.
