Dr. David A. DeWhitt earned a BS in biochemistry from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is an associate professor of biology at Liberty University (lynchburg, Virginia) and associate director of the Center for Creation Studies at Liberty University. His research has focused on Alzheimer’s disease, and has written many articles for journals like Brain Research and Experimental Neurology. He has also written the book Unraveling the Origins Controversy, which answers many challenging questions in the origins debate. Dr. DeWhitt has presented research at both national and international meetings on creation-evolution issues. He is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, the Creation Research Society, and has served as chair of the biology section of the Virginia Academy of Sciences.
