Mount St. Helens – Astonishing Regrowth
Mount St. Helens became a landmark of devastation in 1980. But what does it look like today? Some scientists said that it could take as many as one thousand years before some areas around Mount St. Helens would see significant regrowth. A short trip to the site today would prove otherwise.
Paul Taylor is the director of Strong Tower Ministries. Originally from the UK, Paul does an excellent job analyzing Darwin’s life and legacy. He was a science teacher in a number of United Kingdom state comprehensive schools for almost 20 years, becoming a head of science in one post. In 2000, he left teaching to work for Answers in Genesis–UK/Europe for six years as a speaker, writer, and head of media and communications. He is author of the book “Where Birds Eat Horses” and has led hundreds of tours to Mount St. Helens, studying the impact and environmental regrowth that took place after its eruption in 1980. Taylor continues to speak on creation and apologetics (and against evolution) across the United States in churches and at conferences. He has also spoken widely in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and other European countries.
