McMurtry was an evolutionist for 20 years and a theistic evolutionist for one and a half years. He has been a biblical creationist for 35 years. He has made hundreds of appearances on radio and television; lectured in universities, colleges and schools; and spoken in churches worldwide. In addition, Dr. McMurtry is on the recommended speaker lists of national educational and ministerial organizations. Lastly, he is the author of many articles magazine and newspaper articles in the United States and abroad.
