Description

Why The World Looks So Young

What difference would it make to discover that real, measurable processes show a young world?  This kind of science would support the Bible’s teaching that God created the world in six days only 6,000 or so years ago.  It would mean the Bible’s history is spot-on.

Does God’s world match God’s Word when it comes to the history of our beginnings?  Dr. Brian Thomas and his ICR colleagues explore this question in Why the World Looks So Young: Scientific Evidences for the Genesis Creation and Flood.

This book on topics ranging from our own bodies to outer space gives good reasons to favor the Bible’s timeline.  Both God and His Word are worthy of our full trust.

  1. Paul Artale

    Compact, Cogent, and Convincing

This lays out the scientific evidence falsifying evolution’s desperately-needed “long-ages”, and its consistency with a ‘young’ earth as the Bible clearly teaches in Genesis 1, 2, Exodus 20, and Mark 10.

Evidence presented include the missing hominid populations, absence of continental erosion along with persistent ‘ancient’ stratum, and ‘early’ short-lived blue stars. On its own, each is sufficient to sweep the legs out from under evolution, and when combine demand attention from even the most die-hard materialist.

With this sort of evidence, Christians have the least excuse to remain in ignorance about the failed religious paradigm of evolutionary long ages.
