To discover what a quark is, we have to think small. Really, really small. Everything in the Universe is made up of atoms. Our bodies, the meals we eat, the driveway leading to our houses, all of the stars in the night sky—literally everything is made of atoms.
Atoms are composed of three tiny subatomic particles called protons, neutrons, and electrons. In this article let’s focus on protons and neutrons.
In 1964 two different physicists Murray Gell-Mann and George Zweig independently proposed the idea that these subatomic particles are made up of something even smaller—Quarks.
Gell-Mann named them after a whimsical line in a famous James Joyce work that goes: “Three Quarks for Muster Mark!” (Props to you if you can name the book)
Quarks never exist alone. You’ll always find them hanging out in groups, just like in the cool kid’s corner in school. Composite particles made of quarks are called Hadrons. There are many different classes of Hadrons as well.
There are six different kinds of quarks.
The two lightest quarks are called up and down quarks. These quarks have a two-thirds positive charge and down quarks have a one-third negative charge. That’s right—they have a fractional electrical charge! They also have different masses and different spins. The charge of the quarks equals the charge of the particle. For example, a proton is composed of two up quarks and one down quark and has a charge of plus one.
But wait, there’s more: After up and down quarks, they discovered strange, charmed, top, and bottom quarks. Up, charmed, and top quarks all have a positive charge of two-thirds. Down, strange, and bottom quarks all have a negative charge of one-third.
Each quark has a corresponding antiquark! These antiquarks have a mass identical to their corresponding quark, but the opposite charge.
Here’s where it gets super deep, because there’s a lesson to be learned here: Even though we now have the technology to image individual atoms, quarks and other subatomic particles are still studied through complex particle accelerators and the effects produced from experiments are what let us know the quarks are there.
In other words, we can’t “see” quarks with our eyes.
We could go our whole lives without acknowledging their existence, but it wouldn’t change the fact that they are there. Their presence is known only when a physicist “seeks to find them”.
In the same way, someone can go their entire life without acknowledging the existence of a Creator, but that doesn’t change the fact that He is there. Yahweh, the God of the Bible also left us a historical record of the creation of the Universe. You don’t have to dig very far to find the truth.
Seek and ye shall find. Ask and it shall be given unto you.

Add an electron we have Hydrogen the father of all atoms, is this a proton reflection of God Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and the electron reflects man? a most powerful gas and the lightest gas that rises “above all others”. Who are the creators of all things, are most powerful, and above all others? Water is a witness H2O = H1+H1+O8 (118) again 3 in 1, Oxygen is the enabler for Hydrogen to burn and combine with oxygen to form H2O. Is water a witness reflecting, God, most powerful + the Word, Jesus, most powerful + Holy Spirit the enabler of God’s love to come to man? The number of chapters in the Bible 1189 center chapter is Psalm 118. Birth of Jesus Math 1.18, and Isaiah 9:6 “and his name shall be called Wonderful” Gematria number 118. Lord Jesus appears in the Bible 118 times. Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive and liveth for evermore. Death gematria 118 before Jesus dies at the last supper the Passover tradition is during the meal Psalms 114 and 115 are sung, and after the meal Psalms 116, 117, and 118 are sung, last supper. Mark 14:26 And when they had sung an hymn, they went into the mount of Olives. This would be the last song to pass from the lips of Jesus, is Psalm 118 the last psalm to be sung by Jesus? Is Hydrogen, the witness of God and of Jesus, and Oxygen the witness of the Holy Ghost, if so then H2O is the witness of the three in heaven is this the reason that water was already present at creation? because God did not say “Let there be water”, and it is so precious to God there is a purpose for God’s Spirit passing/hovering over the waters, with His Spirit, God was blessing the first witness to his Glory the three in one God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. God designed everything and Jesus made it, starting with as we know up till now three quarks and one electron. God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and man, God’s purpose from day one, the reflection built into the design and purpose of creation, based on “three quarks and an electron”, ( Got to be a title for a song)

Dear David, I forgot my manners I forgot to say hello. your opening picture of what is a quark? brought a smile to my face, as you will gather from my comment on quarks H2O at creation i covered this in a little more detail for a presentation at church earlier last year just love the thought of 3 quarks and an electron the foundation of creation,

Dear David,
May I please add how the carbon atom shows the fingerprints of Jesus. This is because the carbon atom is the atom of life, specially designed and created by Jesus as stated in John 1. It makes perfect sense that the creator would make the atom of life reflect himself, the creator of life. Cabon is made of 6 protons, 6 neutrons, and 6 electrons, a beautiful picture of the triunity of God, with the number 6 the day mankind was created. It has an atomic weight of 12 as one would expect the same as the number of apostles, and tribes of Israel, and found throughout the Bible. This atom is a picture of God since the 6 protons and neutrons are concentrated in the nucleus of the atom surrounded by the electron cloud. This looks like a mind picture of God the Father and Son seated together, surrounded by the Holy Spirit. In its natural state like charcoal, it can be thought of as a metaphor for a sinner who is reborn in Christ, since the charcoal can be recrystallized into diamond, a picture of purity like a reborn sinner. This is remarkable that such a light element can become diamond, the hardest substance and arguably the most beautiful. This to me proves that Jesus is the creator.
